the owner of Wilson Consulting. A Total Quality Management Consulting company that specializes in Individual,
as well as Corporate Leadership, contract negotiations, life skills, and conflict resolution. Bart is a Professional Consultant, Life Coach, Lecturer, Author and Motivational Speaker who brings a humorous magic to every
presentation. Currently under contract with the Florida State Department of Corrections, other clients range from Volunteer Organizations and Schools to Construction companies, Professional Entertainers, and Government Research
Facilities, both Domestic as well as Internationally.
Bart has 24 years as a K-9 handler, 15 years as a master trainer and 11 years as a seminar
instructor for LE and Search And Rescue teams across the country.
Bart is a certified and experienced Incident Commander and Search Manager with 22 years experience searching for lost or missing people and has served Local, Regional, State, and Federal Government entities on Search And Rescue Events.

Bart began his Volunteer SAR career in OrlandoFlorida as a SAR K-9 handler in 1987 specializing in Wilderness Air-scenting. He has since trained dogs in every discipline of K-9 SAR human scent detection work.
As an Incident Commander, Task Force Leader, or Handler, he has worked missing person’s cases, Tornado & Hurricane disaster events, as well as both water and land cadaver cases. Bart has managed small and large scale multi-agency searches with as many as 48 K-9s and over 1600 human searchers throughout Florida. During his career he has been asked to manage searches for most of the volunteer SAR teams in the state, and in so doing has worked with some of the most dedicated SAR responders in Florida. He has managed searches for city, and county agencies as well as the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) and the FBI.
Bart is on the forefront of utilizing the latest technology in understanding scent dynamics (Previously referred to as scent theory) and canine behavior and recently
presented the latest results of his on-going study of the use of handheld GPS units in the training of scent detection dogs. “Which Way Did He Go?” is the title of the abstract, manuscript, and presentation Bart presented to an international audience of scientists, trainers, and breeders, for the International Working Dog Breeders Association at the International Working Dog Breeders Conference at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio Texas. The abstract was published in the Journal of Veterinary Behavior in the summer of 2008.
Bart was the Chairperson for the ABC National Bloodhound Evaluation Classic held at Walt Disney‘s Wide World Of Sports Complex in Central Florida, and was a recurring lecturer for other ABC events.
Bart has been a recurring instructor for the "Beagle Brigade," a joint training division of the U.S. Customs Agency and U.S. Agriculture Department providing odor detection dogs and handlers to Air and Sea ports under U.S. jurisdiction both nationally and internationally under the DHS.
